Encourage

When Members get stuck on a project or job, we offer them resources to keep going. Whether it's a tool they haven't used, a technique they haven't learned, or a budget hurdle they can't overcome; we teach them, offer them a new perspective, or point them in the direction to find what they need.

Educate

From canning and dehydrating to mitering and painting, Eco Tool Library workshops teach community members how to care for themselves. Local hobbyists and professionals provide expert guidance on the subjects our Members request the most!

Strengthen Community

We leverage communal buying power and community support to offer members hundreds of tools for less than $8.50 per month. This is less than the cost to rent 1 tool at a hardware store, and far less than the cost of buying any power tool.

Honor Humanity

Humans are strongly independent and interdependent at the same time. Humanity is best served when the collective supports the individual while the individual supports the collective. It is the universal bond of sharing that empowers us as individuals and connects us as humans.
